Fallow Ground, an MFA thesis exhibition by Eli Kerns, uses both depictions and specimens of nature in its dormant state to explore ideas of change and growth. The exhibition poses questions about the merit of rest in the face of productivity, as well as humanity’s broader impact on the earth.
